I'm a new 'Talk Morgan' member, with a 1962 Morgan Plus 4. We're about to enter Spring down here in NZ, so fine weather ahead of us. The attached Youtube footage was taken some months ago was when the weather wasn't so good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkOEdXK7JxgKind regards, Brian Mossman

Welcome! Nice car! Wish you better weather for the month to come than you had on your Youtube footage!

Hi Brian, welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy the time you spend here. I am a new member here too. Thanks for taking us for a run in your Morgan, it both looks and sounds great. Your weather seems fine as is, rather like that which I am used to here in North UK..(-:
I recently bought a GoPro to record drives in my Morgan over some of my favourite local roads though did not capture the sound as well as you did, I ended up with too much wind noise. I suspect had I positioned it differently I might have captured some of the exhaust note as did you, whereas my preferred location was central just above the windscreen,no doubt with air rushing past the gap between the windscreen surround and the camera body.. I hoped to use a remote mike but at the moment it seems in the UK there is a shortage of mic adaptors for the camera...
Could not help but spot the rear end of a Frog Eye Sprite in your(?) garage... My first car was a Frog Eye..and boy did I learn about the effect the climate here in relation to it`s ability to convert steel to corn flakes, my first of many old cars brought back from the dead..!!
Good to have you among us Brian.

Big welcome Mossy - loved the video - thought it was my dad driving to start with - spitting image from what I could see! And he’s never been to NZ so I’m sure you’re not him. Are you? Best wishes HB

Mossy
If you are anywhere near Aukland , Tim Cree now owns my old +4 race car. I am sure he would be a wealth of knowledge for you.
Perhaps you have met him already , or seen the +4 , bright yellow with MOG 615 registration plate.

Mossy Welcome. I'm in the process of rebuilding my MOG. Videos like yours just remind me of what I'm missing. Lovely colour and great sound.

Hi all and re The Austrian's response regarding a hope for better weather - yes I look forward to that. I drive my Morgan most days and in all weathers (as per attached 'clip'). Sometimes when you have the full screen its not worth stopping to put up the soft-top, for a shower or two.Often as not I only have the aeroscreen and rain drops in the eyes really sting. However, it's hard to wipe the constant smile when driving a Morgan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HOvQnY5p_U&t=1s Sorry this clip is a bit long - I'm still practising with the GoPro. Kind regards, Brian Mossman
