Here Not sure about the valuation given its history! Not keen on the wheels either.

agree on the wheels, but if the repairs are done "by the book" then this is a good car

I think that price is pretty outrageous given the nature of the damage.

Indeed. That should be £40,000. A Series III in uncrashed condition will soon be at £45k, no?

A good series 3 is £50k. That doesn't mean to say all series 3 cars are at that level. Price of these cars is very much based on provenance and condition rather than anything else. I think this is a very well known car and indeed the gentleman who repaired it (and still owns it??) is a member of TM

It'll be interesting to see what it makes at auction. I wonder what the reserve might be on it?

I'm not sure I will be bidding as it only has 4 valves per cylinder on 7 of the 8 cylinders and two on the last "30 valve 8 cylinder..."
Cheers

Car was rebuilt by New Elms Morgan in Semley Dorset (Near Shaftesbury) I believe they know what they are doing down there and have seen the quality of their work. Although they have not touched my car!
Saw the car this time last year before it was complete but as for price well that will be known by now, just cant be bothered to look it up!, but its the press car with a bit of history to it which may encourage some fool to stump up the extra!

Shown in the report as "Unsold" If the reserve was around the 40K mark I'm not surprised, it will be interesting to see where it pop's up next.
