Rodger, it must be quite the show getting in and out of the cockpit. Lots of cheers from the ladies.

Looks very appropriate though👍

That's Bentley Flame Orange I'll have you know...….

This is a SVA Euro3 with MMC Stage 1 exhaust/air filter but otherwise I believe it to be mechanically standard. It's done 750 miles as compared to 30.5k (and nearly 6 years) on mine.

It felt a bit more solid and had a smoother transmission (I know mine is quite bad and needs the clutch/compensator looking at).

On initial pull away the throttle was more sensitive than mine and the steering a bit lighter. I was pleasantly surprised by the Brooklands steering wheel which felt really good to use.

On the slightly damp to wet roads, even at relatively low speeds the Avon front tyres didn't feel as precise as the Blockleys. However this might be affected by tyre pressure as I found the Avons benefit from being run at 28-30psi

In the mid and towards the upper end of the revs/speed it did run out of puff a bit compared to mine which has the stage 2/3 high lift cams.

The stock Spax shocks are not as good as the Spax adjustables being harsher over speedbumps - not excessively so but enough to notice the difference.

Overall it's a cracking example of a M3W and shows the car has subtly evolved over the last 5-6 years.
Thanks for the analytical assessment Chris! I really must get to try out a new one myself. As you know, mine is a 2012 model and I'm sure that cars with the later chassis give a smoother ride. I wonder what the weight penalty is though?
