Drove 20 miles to get my hair cut and 20 (or so) miles back. Long way to go for a haircut? Not if it's in the Morgan it's not. Cool day mind. Tonneau on and heater turned right up! Lovely!

Collected the car & drove it back from Krazy Horse in Bury St Edmunds. Great fun in lovely sunny but cool weather.

About 50 miles today - usual route down to Carmarthen. There's lots of speed limits, but not so bad when you're pottering along in a Morgan!

Great 250 mile round trip today to see Cain @ Wolf performance and then onto Allon-white to test drive the new Plus6. Was thinking i'd be blown away by the new car but actually very happy to be driving mine home - the throttle controlled exhaust notes and rifle-bolt gearchange proving an addictive delight. The Plus6 was really fast ( obviously ) and it steered well and soaked up bumps - however whilst I like Autos I didn't warm to a slush box in a Morgan and given the car is "all new" I was surprised that lots of Morgan rattles are still built in. Still felt really good however and if I win the lottery I'd have one. However would I swap my tuned and fettled 4/4 for one? No. Really good to try one however - thanks Phil @ Allon white.

It can only be the dash and gear stick, surely everything else is Morgan trad DNA (on the surface anyway)

Just did a couple of short local trips today, so only about 20 miles. Very wet in the morning, but the 2nd trip was the most important - fish and chips!

One of my friends is mad about my MORGAN. For his birthday I told him "we go out in the MOG for a daytrip". That was in may. Last saturday I had a look out, a look at "weather.com" and than I call let's go out, the weather would be great.

The idea was "indian summer in a warm sunshine, hood down, in the "Pfälzer Wald" and "Nordvogesen".

A bigger journey. So the first kilometers at the Autobahn to Kaiserslautern, than changing to B-roads to Pirmasens, here through the city to Winzeln. Following the roadsigns to Bitch (it' s a town in North France) My friend has no idea where we go, but he was happy about the landscape.
He was also happy to see that my three wipers are working well. And they had a lot of work, "weather.com" was't right.

From Bitch we drive to Niederbronn les Bains, where we had a meal at "Muellers". It's a restaurant and hotel opposite the railway station. They have wonderful daily meals!

After the stop we drive through the Nordvogesen to Woerth, passing some nice towns and leaving the rain. From Woerth we chose the easy way home, only following the "Weinstrasse".

It was a great trip, about 400 Kilometers. And sometimes I thing about Peters highpolished 4/4...
And my poor MOG must out in the rain...

Greets René

Drove over to Dresden for MCD Autumn meeting. A nice 8 day trip in the +8, 1715 miles and quite a bit of fuel. Rained every day I drove the car, got a little wet as roofless. Apparently friends travelling back to the Rhineland on the Sunday also got wet, very wet and they all had their roofs up!!
Shocking crash on M2 at lunchtime on coast bound side near the Services.
