none of these kind of jobs EVER go by the book. Removed the burnt light.... Made a bracket.... Bolting the bracket on the OEM turn signal bolt..... Snapped off the OEM bolt....

So discovered drilling out the OEM bolt with a hole that were it is welded is REALLY hardened....

Now the question is to I match the left side to the right side or just have two lights that are not identical (guess what my OCD self is saying to that question)

I changed both sides and one of my bolts snapped too :-) it’s rather brittle.

Since I then needed to remove the bracket, it now has a shiny new coat of paint.

The front indicators on my 2012 car haven't melted as such, but around 3 years ago I had to replace one of the amber LED modules because some of the LEDs had failed and the rest were quite dim. Then, over winter I noticed that the replacement was going the same way - I can only surmise that this has something to do with heat and/or vibration. I decided to fit motorcycle 'Mini' turn signals as pioneered by a TM member (sorry I can't remember who).

The parts I used were all inexpensive with the whole job costing around £25 (excluding heat shrink tubing, amalgamating tape and tie wraps etc). All parts from UK eBay.

The wires from the indicator module were cut to around 80mm before being joined to the existing cables. After being soldered, heat-shrunk and taped, the joined cable was pushed back up the rigid convoluted tube to produce quite a neat stealth look.

Great job Bunny, and more clearance from the exhaust as well. I replaced my faulty amber units with clear units that flash amber. From memory the pair were a lot less than one from Morgan.

Bunny, I’ve also just got some of these but haven’t wired them in yet. How does the brightness compare to the standard units?

There is a video Posted somewhere that show how bright they shine. Pretty amazing given their size and probably more of an attention getter than the oem.
