Anyone know if the middle brake light failing is something thats a regular occurrence?

I know it says its not covered under warranty but surely a LED should not fail after a year.

Mine has failed today frown

James, I can't say I've heard that being an issue.

Has the entire unit failed or just one LED? From looking at it, it seems to be made up of 4-5 LEDs.

No the whole unit has stopped working, the car is due for a service soon so hopefully its something simple like a loose wire.

Brake light is back on.

Think it might have been a slightly low battery, I've got one of the Navtrak ADR alarm systems and they always seem to sap the battery.

A few days on the trickle charger has done the trick.

Pleased to hear it was nothing serious James. In my experience none of the Aero's will last much more than 7-days without the battery going flat, so a battery conditioner is essential. smile

Exactly, every car I've had with the ADR trackers has required the use of Ctek type charger.

I use a battery brain www.batterybrain.co.uk on both my car and boat, work brilliantly, the either are to sit idle for a few weeks,
