Hi all, as I did not get a chance to see my Morgan Roadster (new in May this year) during manufacture i have just booked a tour of the factory for next Tuesday. I am planning to go in my treasured Morgan, does anyone know if there is somewhere safe to park at the factory ?, it would be great if there is somewhere reserved for Morgan’s.

Many thanks Nick

The visitor carpark is large and safe as it is inside the factory grounds.
Probably a few Morgan's there.

Yes plenty of parking and a fair few Morgans parked outside.

The best place is to turn sharp left just inside the gate and there are about five herringbone slots where hardly anyone parks...……..

Try to get on a tour with our very own Graham (on this forum) , and introduce yourself to him.

Not much he doesn't know about the subject.

Or if you turn right there is a grassy bank alongside the fence (which happened to be the only space the last time we went) and I happened to park next to another Morgan which belonged to the aforementioned Graham chappy (v helpful fellow who is an expert also on the local sausage roll so I’m told...).
V safe and had a good chat with Graham to boot. Happy times ...😎🤓👍

Thanks for advice gents, It’s reassuring knowing I can park my Morgan safely. Really looking forward to my visit on Tuesday as I’ve not been there before.

Much appreciated

Or, as Dave W said, the other side of the gateway, between building and fence, but if heavy rain a large puddle does grow on that side. We sometimes have additional cars parked in that area too, so you'll have to play it by ear. On the grass is where tour guides usually park our Morgans.

I had a fantastic day at the factory yesterday and as suggested I turned right and parked on the grass next to a white Morgan. The journey from Northampton was also thoroughly enjoyable, I went through Stratford upon Avon and edged the Cotswolds.
I was surprised how small the factory actually is and was slightly disappointed to find that not many traditional Morgan’s were going through manufacture, it was mostly Plus 6’s, however If they come up with a manual version that could well be my next Morgan.
Thanks again for all the advice, I can see another visit in the not too distant future.

Nick
