The only thing that I tell people that are considering owning an M3W is, "choose wisely" and then let them determine the meaning I'm trying to convey.
For many so bitten by this bug, there is only one thing that can scratch the itch.
In one of Ales Roy's 'M3W vs. XXX' videos he commented that the Morgan 3 Wheeler is a "great idea, executed poorly".
Confucius said, "There are three methods to gaining wisdom. The first is reflection, which is the highest. The second is limitation, which is the easiest. The third is experience, which is the bitterest."
For most of us, we will have to pee on this electric fence for ourselves!
Choose wisely...

Howdy All....new to TM, recently bitten by the Morgan bug, the M3W one to be exact. Am advised the best (and only) cure is to own one. Am glad to see there are some folks in/around Seattle that are also afflicted ...and have taken the cure. Given the research I've done, and opinions of current and former owners, I might think the best course of action would be to buy a new/newer one. PM sent.
2019 M3W Sold and is now in Las Vegas enjoying the showgirls :-)

Hey i'll throw my experience in the mix since I was in your shoes not so long ago. I'm probably one of the younger lads in the forum here (in my early rocking 30's).
I to tried to go the used way and 2.5 years in the hunt I never found a model that ticked all 3 boxes:
1. was price relevant 2. fit my taste 3. had all the upgrades done
I ended up never having all 3 box tickets. Either the car was all upgraded, fitted my taste but was priced very similar to a new car. Either that or it was designed by Liberace/Mr T. Sometimes the car needed so much work that it ended almost on par with a new car. I should mention that a handful of cars did meet the mark but the owners ended up withdrawing their sales offer due to sentimental attachment ...
I once had 3 refusal in one week - didn't get blue balled that much since prom.
Now my situation is different because i live in a remote country and import + duties have an impact on the bottom line so does not paying UK VAT. I therefor pulled the trigger on a new one this summer and (un)fortunately the Brexit has gone my way to make the GBP lower when buying the car.
The risk of earlier models is a roulette for the non-initiated ( I do not have the knowledge nor the space to fix the car at home) that drove me away.
I hope this gives you another perspective on the whole situation. Good luck on your hunt.

I sincerely wish to thank you all for your input , although I must admit that in my circumstances , I am a bit scared to take the plunge also considering my advanced age. 67. I feel very obliged for your advice as this way I can make a better assessment. I have had a look at all the other three wheelers which were mentioned but for me there is only one that can give me the thrill and without Doubt that is the Morgan3. I have just stopped using my bikes following an accident where I skidded, and this Morgan is the only thing that could come close to the thrill and torque of a powerful bike which I am used to ride. My 4/4 is fun but lacks the acceleration. My dream has still not faded away. I purchased my Three Wheeler at the age of 67. When I was considering it, my wife said better get it while you can still get in and out. Now coming up on age 70 and still enjoying it. Also have a plus 8 and a C7 Corvette, the three wheeler is the most fun
