Tarka is locked away at Williams, waiting on new parts, presently O/S at MMC.
Oh well...the weather is pants anyway.

Had quite a few drives out, some of them with the hood up ,followed by a thorough wash. No leaks!

Today my wife asks me: a sunny day in october... The last one this year? Cycling or morganeering? :-) After a lot of dark days in the garage - let's go out with the Morgan.
From Mainz out to Nieder-Olm, Sörgenloch to Köngernheim. Than the "Rheinhessenstrasse" to the area where Rheinhessen meets the Pfalz. Not sure about the right way, left-right-left and so on. After great landscapes we finished in Bad Dürkheim.
A short stop and back home. It turns dark, the tmperature turns down too... My wife feels warm and well - and I'm a little boiled.
To there was the nessesary for another stop. A wineyard. A good class of wine and fine meal later the last miles with hod up.
A great day out.

Today was a fantastic day. 20 degrees warm. I visited my mother in the Sauerland. Here a picture, where in the Sauerland so many Christmas trees grow for the whole Ruhr area, Cologne, Düsseldorf etc. A wonderful day. Altogether 350 km. Down to Felixstowe for a nice walk by Languard Fort.
Chilly but sunny, a real nice autumn day.
