Do you mean centre lock alloys? Otherwise you can still buy them.

I have noticed cars around 2004 have had the centre lock alloy replaced with more conventional wheel nut versions. Probably due to the frequency of Wheel Departure, in fact the Mexican Grand Prix showed how dodgy they can be.,

The original Plus 8 wheels. When year did the spoke wheels replaced the alloy wheels?

I don’t think wire wheels replaced the knock on alloys, I think they ran concurrently?
Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than me will come along and confirm or otherwise........

Taffmog is correct, the early Plus 8 had the alloys then the Millrace style alloys because people were sceptical about wires handling the loads, but with the Cobra type wires people relaxed a bit . Later plus eights till the end could come with a few options -Original pattern type alloys, wires or the expensive Morgan centrelock alloys.
