Thoroughly enjoyed our visit today. Jon and Jayne’s Plus 6 is wonderful - very tempting but the car I most coveted was Brian’s SP1. Management tells me that we cannot have one. Dave Sap’s Series 1 William really is a lovely car.

Phil has done a brilliant job with the club stand - very well laid out.

I also liked the Bugatti tow car - looked wonderfully “lived-in”.

The stand out car - I wanted to drive home in....a Gordon Keeble.

I second that. There is something very appealing about a GK......Looks, Power, Build and exclusivity.

Except the badge

Who thought putting a tortoise on a car badge was a good idea?

Went on Friday almost too much to see especially in a day, having said that I saw more than I did the previous 2 years.

Highlights, the Morgan stand of course, a rebodied black 1950's Bentley near the Morgan stand. Amazing quality of all the cars there and for sale on dealer stands.

Next year I wont take a coat as its very hot in there the shuttle buses to the car parks are frequent and wont carry bags of free magazines etc around all day!

A great day all round.

I went on Friday and its another amazing show. The Morgan stand was one of the best I've seen at the NEC although I thought the build quality of the Plus 6 was a little disappointing.
