I have decided to have the interior of my 1969 4/4 retrimmed. Does anyone know what colour was available on an indigo blue . I understand black was standard. But I fancy red or tan.

Then go for red or tan. Alternative colors would have been available back then and it is your car now.

If by 'Red' you mean Mulberry, then I'd go for that. Unless by 'Tan' you mean 'Saddle Brown' in which case I'd probably go there.

I wouldn't worry about retaining factory originality, as JCK says, it's your car, so have it the way you want rather than how somebody 50 years ago thought it should be. It's not like there were any specific colour combos designated by the factory, people had whatever they wanted.

I have Muirhead Saddle interior on my car. Muirhead is the leather supplier and Its written in the front of my vehicle handbook.

Have you though of contacting Morgan as they may keep records of individual car specs?

Morgan should be able to tell you the full spec but I think now they demand £75. It used to be a tenner.

Can anyone recommend a good balm for Leather seats ?

I do not want shiny seats, i would like the oil or Balm to be able to soak in.
