Whilst surfing the Net for something completely unconnected, I did come across this article Three Wheel Cars - Primary Factors that Determine Handling & Rollover Characteristics that may appeal to the more technical amongst us; that does not include me! doh

Interesting, apparently the reason why the new 3W has a track of 6 feet to ensure it skids before it flips, a narrower track would have produced the undesirable opposite scared

This prototype has now come up for sale and it must be an ideal Trike purchase for Gerwyn, incorporating both Triking and MMC thinking and Triking build quality!

It has been purchased by Ace Cyclecars, who are I believe the successors to BRA, which company were involved in the initial building of this prototype for MMC. The trike has sliding pillar suspension and can be fitted with any engine, including a Guzzi!

Personally, and at the risk of upsetting the purists, I can see why MMC did not go ahead with this version of the 3W as that sliding pillar front suspension does not look right. hide

How are you fixed for a trip down to Ace Cyclecars in Ditchling Gerwyn? coffee

I know Newtown very well. I'd forgotten it had a Morgan dealer. Should have popped over while I was there this year.
