So I just changed the plastic cam cover on my 2l Duratec engine in my Plus 4.
Having never attempted anything actually oily and properly mechanical before, barring greasing the front suspension and changing a wheel, with the help of YouTube and the safety net of Wolf Performance on speed dial, I swapped out the ugly plastic cover for a custom cast metal cover that I'd had made.
So no bits left over, no weird sounds and no apparent leeks, and I seem to have got away with it!
Whilst not to everyone's taste, and obviously not stock, for me the aesthetics of it seem to fit the car and its heritage better all round.......

Fabulous and very tasteful, I like to keep a car looking standard but I'd buy some of those for my Sigma if they made them!

Great attention to detail P44S.

Love the Ace Peak Plates but where did you get your LED headlights?

Thanks guys. The LED headlights are actually Morgan, picked up through Krazy Horse; they're expensive, but I like the way the LED running lights are in a strip, reminiscent of blackout covers. I'm about to fit some Cibie LED spotlights to match.....
