Weird... getting a gas smell but no evidence at all of leaking. It seems to be coming from the fuel hose area between the jugs but everything LOOKS perfect! Thoughts?

Add some UV dye into your fuel and inspect all hoses under the plastic cowl after a run.

Ken, have you ever replaced the hose clamps that others have mentioned were leaking?

Kankel, UV dye? What does that do to the rest of the fuel system?

Nothing, you can buy oil/fuel safe UV dye and then see all leaks using black light.

If you still have any crimped on fuel hose clamps on the engine then they should be replace with screw type fuel hose clamps, not Jubilee clips. The crimped clips are notorious for leaking and should be replaced on any part of the M3W, there are some around the fuel filter and pump as well. If that turns out not to be the problem, check the fuel tanks out, particularly around the attachment brackets and the filler tube to RH tank weld.

Seems those crimped clamps don’t easily “uncrimp” ( been trying for 1/2 hour). Just cut the hose and pull off?
