You should be able to pry the locking tab loose with a small screwdriver then remove with a pair of pliers.

You should be able to pry the locking tab loose with a small screwdriver then remove with a pair of pliers. I was able to pry them loose with a small driver as well I know there are some of these clips in the fuel tank area that folk have changed - is this as a result of leaks or just preventative?

sometimes you can get a screwdriver under one of the ends...

I gave up, sawed through the hose and pulled the hose off. This is the crossover fuel line between the jugs. I’ll let you all know if the smell has vanished as soon as I drive her again.
