Is all the wood being replaced with aluminum?
Its is an F type 3 wheeler from 1930/40's, which as original would have had a wooden frame panelled in steel.

You could use Tenax fasteners which work with the same pegs as the "lift the dot" fasteners but are released by pulling up the knob rather than tilting. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/01/20/Tenax.jpg) Wilson
