Just refitted the standard pipes for noise abatement reasons and can confirm that the straight through pipes do make a noticeable difference to engine power and low down tractability and that’s with number one baffle removed.

Not sure yet, the extra power is great but i think they are just too noisy.
Every one turns round to look and not always in a good way, you can tell what they are thinking.
I like to give the car a good thrash when out and found myself holding back to limit the noise. When on it they are LOUD!
Garage 56 are now on my Christmas list, anyone want to buy some Magnaflows rofl

I am sure that your neighbours, your ears and you will be happy with a set of G56 pipes. You get a decent sound and the performance gains of loud pipes without making your ears bleed, a definite plus when on a longer run.

Once my warranty expires a G56 muffler system will be purchased. I like the AR Stage 1 pipes, especially for the warranty, but dang, they are a bit loud when the gas pedal is pressed.

I put a set of magnaflows on mine with new stainless pipes. Removed the catalytic converters aswell. Replaced both O2 lambda sensors and I love the noise it makes. Makes harley guys stop and stare. Yes. It is loud. Stomp on the loud pedal and it really raises hell. You probably do need an unlocked ecu because I definitely had to add fuel to the entire map. The g56 pipes were great. But they were cracked on my machine when I got it. improved throtle responce and all that jazz. But the noise is just fantastic. The sound now matches the look.

The magna flow certainly do sound nice. Did you buy the G56 unlocked ECU?

The unlocked ECU came already installed by the previous owner with a whole host of upgrades. Cams, ecu, exhaust, aircleaner, suspensions,. I added the bevel box cooler and oil cooler kits and the magna flow exhaust. I dont think the ecu came from g56. I will look in my file and see where it's from and the price paid. I think it may have come from s&s direct but I very well could be mistaken. Will advise.

An ECU that can be tuned in the USA by an S&S dealer would be a big advantage for those of us who live a two or three day drive from the nearest Morgan dealership. Then again Morgan will not tune for high lift cams or any modifications.
