Were it not for the efforts of Bill Fink, I suspect that ever increasing safety and emission regs from the 1970`s on would perhaps have denied imports of any Morgans to the US ...?

Interesting on the new US timing as it was going to be 2022 rather than 2023 maybe it is proving harder than they thought.
I do see they have the Super 3 in the US so at least the dealers now have something to sell.
For a time they did ship Morgan’s to with engines and gearboxes to be fitted there to get around the rules. This it was called the Roadster 35 or something. The whole premise was that the car was a replica of a classic I doubt they could do the sale For a CX car.

One should think that CX-models could be imported as turn-key cars under the replica rules. After all, the Plus Four resembles the traditional Plus 4 as long as you don't look under the car. The number of cars imported will then be limited to 325 cars a year. Harald
