Bad news… too much is bent/broken, so no repair will be done. I‘m very, very sad

I'm so sorry to hear that Ivo, I hope the insurance pays out without any problems and you can get another Bee, it is such a striking enjoyable combination.
I know exactly how you are feeling as when I had my 4/4 Sport I was hit corner to corner by a speeding Audi on a back lane and mine was written off too, it's a sad feeling knowing all the journeys it has taken you and the memories you have made together.
You cant be without a Geoffrey for too long

Very sorry to hear that Ivo, from the photograph the damage didn't seem that extensive.
Perhaps your insurance company would rather pay put than repair.

I already considered a build up in the factory. The frame has to be changed and apearently some wooden parts are also broken. Plus wing, plus front suspension?, plus steering? plus…?

It's good and important that nothing bad happened to you and maybe others. But you have my deepest sympathy for the condition of your car. I wish you all the best and a positive solution that your beautiful car can be rebuilt.
