This might be evident on the MMC website, but the classic needed a lot of extra boxes ticking (steering wheel, dashboard etc) to make it acceptable. Wondered if the Plus 6 is the same or like most cars these days, the standard model is good to go.

Wondered if the Plus 6 is the same or like most cars these days, the standard model is good to go. The "standard" wheels are 18" Speedster wheels, which I haven't seen on the car in any pictures yet, and the 19" Plus Six wheels are extra (£2195). I think the sports exhaust would be a good extra to have as well. I would add heated seats, and something other than black leather. Wooden dash is extra too. Steering wheel options may be available from third parties at some point.... You can download the prices here: https://www.morgan-motor.com/plus-six/

Thanks Jon, I like the standard size wheels with more rubber, low profile tyres do "nothing" for the look of a MORGAN (IMHO). The Morgan Sports exhaust is too expensive, I would use an exhaust specialist and develop my own (as I just have with my Roadster). It would end up "fruitier" though... Agree Heated Seats £645 are required, not bothered about a wooden dash and a change of steering wheel is 100% needed. Metallic paint is a £1,200 option, so I would ignore that and go for a solid dark blue or ivory white (a nod to the Trad)...there you go my PlusSix all spec'd up!

Honesty means doing it right, even when no one is looking!

Mds61 Could you expand a little more on the exhaust specialist. Does it cause any issues, how loud, expensive?

Looking at the price list - never liked the speedster wheels - probably a reason why I have never seen a P6 pic with them.
Do the proper wheels really cost £2195 extra?
One to the bean counters.

The grey demonstrator which I went out with SBM in, has black Speedster wheels. They wouldn't be my choice, too plain......but easy clean. http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/605833/re-sbm-collects-new-6#Post605833

I'm very similar to you Mark, although I think metallic does enhance the curves & for me it needs Allon Whites to tweak the seat padding

Quoting the Morgan website "Newly designed wheels are introduced with the Plus Six"... it is not obvious immediately that these are an optional extra. I'd imagine by the time I get my Plus Four CX that I'll be able to spec a slightly cheaper alternative.
