I would suggest a 3.0 l S1 Roadster but then I am biased .Good luck

Thank you Jon, sounds like good offer. But for the moment I have to wait for the outcome with the insurance. With time and patience, everyting will fall into place  By the way… I also consider a +8. What year, did Morgan start using aluminium for the body parts and gavanized frames?

Ivo,
they were optional for a long time. My 97 +4 was aluminium apart from the firewall bulkhead. Later long doors cars I think were always aluminium.

My 79 +8 was all aluminum including the bonnets .The scutle bulkhead and cowl were painted steel. Forty years old they were still sound.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

Up early for a 50 mile blast around Derbyshire yesterday before the roads got too busy, lots of Deer as we drove through the Chatsworth Estate Despite a temp of around 7degC is was surprisingly wet & slippery out there - be careful chaps

Picked up a bit of turkey this morning, and drove the long way round, so about 30 miles. Pretty busy in Lampeter, but other roads not too bad.
