Heinz,
agreed, it is excellent, along with SanMiguel, Peroni and a couple of others.
Becks Blue was one of the better ones, but it has been eclipsed by recent introductions

Peter. Firstly, I hope Caroline has a full and speedy recovery.

As for drinking: I was instructed to give up 9 years ago, when I was initially suspected to have a liver problem. (Turned out not to be an issue with my liver, but an MPN)
This diagnosis also stopped me drinking for a while.
The alcohol added to the nausea, so giving up completely was easy.

Now things have settled down a bit, I do like an occasional glass of wine with dinner, especially when at a restaurant.
However, at home and during the winter, I enjoy a small whisky and water most nights.

Bud,

after 2 weeks dry I find all I enjoy is a small glass of red.
Whisky and water... so far doesn't appeal, which given it used to be may favourite tipple, is weird.
I think my pallet has changed, or something.
