Today you would not believe.Other than the fact that the trees are bare you would think it was a beautiful spring day. Not a cloud in the sky all day and just the remnants of a frosting of snow on the mountain tops.
Christmas lunch for us was a very quite event this year, just Alis, her mother and myself. The rest of our family and friends are spread all over the world this year. Also, just to be different, we had Chinese roast duck (purchased in Chinatown in Milan yesterday) and I cooked stir fried vegetables and rice to go with it. The main course was certainly a change from tradition. Naturally we added a few other traditional odds and ends as well.
I can only wish that everyone managed to have such a pleasant day as we have.

I rather like that idea!!
We are having a more traditional roast chicken and the expected trimmings.
As with you, it has been a glorious day, not a breath of wind and a cloudless sky.
Sadly, it seems that overnight the cloud returns, and with it yet more rain.
Have a great New Year and reflect on just how long you have been on this earth. I'm a child of the 50s, so 2020 is my 8th decade.
A lot has changed..to say the least.
