I stumbled on this interesting article which may be of interest to +8 owners about one chaps journey of finding an Engine Management System for the modified engine in his TVR, He replaced the Hotwire with an Emerald system and, after problems with that and advice from Mark Adams, replaced the Emerald with the Gems system The article is primarily about how to go about the conversion, which is non trivial, but is more interesting for me because of it's paean to the Gems system. (The article is from the TVRCC Sprint magazine and the author has permission from TVRCC to make it public)

The link worked ok for me.
A good, interesting article quite technical in parts.
The comments about the sophistication of the Gems system are interesting too. The Gems manual can be seen in gomog Plus8 specific section and describes the ability to learn and adapt.
Worth a read for Plus8 owners.

May be the task is that the article is directly a pdf format. Some computers may start it automatically while others may need a promt or they have to download it first.
Addendum, on my iPad it opens in Safari immediately. But Chrome wants to offer me an app to view the article and makes it a bit more complicated. But finally it works.
