Is that Tahuna in the North... Or Tahuna Beach near Nelson South Island?.... If the later I also saw a really clean green with tan interior Morgan parked up in Nelson. In November.... NZ roads would be perfect for a Morgan (weather not too shabby either).... Only saw the one in the month I was in the South Island (other than a couple of 3W oldies in the bike museum).... But there appear to be more based in the North Island.... Enjoy your trip, it's a great place.

Greetings John Welcome to New Zealand. The car you saw is a 3.7 Roadster resident in Tauranga. Not mine. There is the Tahuna-Ohinewai Road which connects SH1 to SH 27 and now seems to be the route that Mr Google seems to be promoting . It was a quiet country road but a couple of weeks ago heading to Auckland it was very busy. Where are you headed? Doug From deep deep downunder.

The one you saw in Nelson was probably my 2018 Amazon Green Plus 4 as it's the only one I'm aware of around here.Yes, NZ roads are good for driving it's just the drivers that need a bit educating about tailgating, how to use roundabouts and their indicators!! Trust you had a good trip down under. Cheers Dougal

Dougal....... Car's a credit to you... It looked spectacular with the sun sparking the green metallic..... Wife and I were in one of the ubiquitous Sprinter camper vans.... We stopped for a good look at it. The lack of traffic in the S Island was a nice change from the crowded UK roads..... We'd planned on it being a one-off trip but by halfway through the month we were already planning our return.

Glad you enjoyed your NZ trip. I've been here for nearly 40 years and wild horses wouldn't' drag me back to the UK to stay. I've been back 3 times for trips and each time the traffic and population increase is just staggering. I see you're from Aberdeenshire, I was was born in Torphins (1953) and lived in Kirkmichael most of my youth. The road from Banchory down Deeside, over Glenshee and onto Pitlochry via Kirkmichael has got to be one of prettiest drives in the country - Morgan heaven, in a warm, sunny day with roof down and side shields off. I believe the best day last year for this trip would have been the 14th of August - ha-ha.
