After 18 months of happy ownership my eye has been taken by another (Lotus). My need is for a daily fun car to compliment the Beemer estate. I only use her when the sun is shining. I will need to sell "Bluey", stage 1 tuned with sports exhaust by Krazy Horse Morgan. 6,200 miles, fully serviced, properly loved, 2016, Mot'd and serviced in October 2019. What's it worth? Also does one sell a M3W privately or would the best bet be to sell through a dealer on SOR? Better to wait until March?

Certain Morgan dealers also deal in Lotus.
So if you’ve decided you want a Lotus, but not found the actual car (eg you’ve decided on an Elsie but not a specific car that you’ve seen for sale), it might be worth talking to one of these dealers.
Oakmere and Bell & Colvill are the two dealers that immediately come to mind, there may well be others.

It's worth advertising it in the For Sale section here.
Looking on Autotrader, Pistonheads and MMC Used Car search will give you a rough idea of what it's worth, but it can be difficult as these are niche vehicles. You also need to factor something around £3-5k difference between a dealer and a private sale.
SOR through a dealer would perhaps be an easy option as they would store, market and provide security of payment. If you bought it new then the supplying dealer would be my first port of call, followed by whoever did the servicing if different.
By the way, don't bother with "We Buy Any Car" as they don't buy M3Ws!!!
