Great work Rob and an unrelenting project.
Interested to know why you chose a chain rather than gears in the transfer intermediate.

+1 (not for the first time). Will you be fabricating a wooden tub and the bodywork yourself?

I went with a chain (13,300 lbf yield rating) because to retain the same direction of rotation I would have required 3 gears, shafts, ect. The gear setup would be more complex than required and noisy as well. Most Vehicle transfer cases I am familiar with utilize a roller chain, with more strands though , to transfer power. The T-Case I designed also allows me to mimic the original offset in the BMW Donor transmission making the Paralever basically a bolt on solution. The fatigue life using the components chosen should yield me many many years of maintenance free operation as well.

Rob, Great display of design and metal working skills here! I have been proven wrong in ignoring posts on 3 wheelers. Good-luck in 2020 with your project! Cheers, Bert

Great project.... Keep the updates coming!
Is that a duplex chain or twin chains on parallel sprockets?..... If the later keep an eye on stretch.... Twin chains have been used on high power bike engined single seater hillclimb racers..... What can happen is one chain stretches a bit, which puts more of the strain on the shorter one, which stretches... Etc, etc, etc...... For high stress chain drive (200+bhp driving wide sticky slicks) most people nowadays use single EK DRZ2 drag chain... Massively heavy side plates so very stretch resistant.... Not an o-ring chain but that wouldn't be an issue fully enclosed like that.
Great work... Look forward to seeing your progress.
