Soap, SOAP, when I were a lad, we just had a damp piece of Yorkshire coal to rub on your hands . Or a lick on mum's handkerchief.

Pity you missed the 110 special but sounds like a nice car. Imperial looks a bit more brown to me than Mulberry.
[quote=ChrisConvertible] Missing the 110 offer is a bummer. That was a good deal. It’s frustrating that Morgan’s current price list on their website is still based on the 110 package ( with the proviso that it might no longer be available at the point of order). That makes pricing the car quite difficult and misleading. It’s about 10 k more than my 2012 Roadster with a broadly similar package and a fully specced car with all the options ticked would now top 75k, the price of the new Plus 6. Plus 4’s and Roadsters are quite pricy now. Yes, Imperial is a dark brownish red and a nice compromise between traditional tan brown and Mulberry.

My Spec has finally gone to Morgan so the agony of choice will give way to the agony of waiting. I’m trying to give it a 60’s look.
Roadster in Dove Grey with Imperial trim.
Looking forward to the photos David Thanks Jon. The trouble with Dove Grey is that it does not photograph well and it’s difficult to get an accurate likeness of the colour. This film is a fairly good representation ( if you can put up with the naff piano accompaniment) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeZ...Psu-aTZG_r27UKYFsv&index=79&t=0s

My car is going into build now so I should have it in March, so its an exciting time for me.
Reviewing my spec the only item I have cold feet about is the black pack windscreen A pillars. I still think I like it (but not on the headlights which I'm changing to stainless rims). Still, I think it can easily be changed if I really dislike it but it would involve buying new chrome finish side screens.
Time will tell - all part of the adventure of speccing a Morgan.

When you have the black screen pillars you also get black sidescreen frames. I don't know whether i like them black just because they're different and if so would I fall out with them in the longer term. Fortunately I don't have the decision to make however I do like the silver sidescreen frames on my car. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2019/11/19/usedcar_113_1571924680.3189.md.jpg)

Dove grey is a great choice, congratulation, I like this color a lot on the traditional cars. I had my Threewheeler painted in that color, now owning a Plus 4 in dove grey. I prefer the black interior, I don't like too many different colors on the same car. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2019/11/29/UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_d38.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2019/11/25/IMG_2005.jpg)

Dove grey - really suits some cars....

Trip to the factory to see my car today and it looks great.
And who should show me to my car but our very own Graham ! Graham, a huge thank you to you for the factory tour and for introducing me to my new car.
A thank you also to the two TM members I saw in the factory reception but whose names I did not pick up in all the excitement!
We had a nice chat with Steve Morris and Morgan archivist and author Martyn Webb.
It’s funny how you agonise over car choices but in the end it all looks fantastic - to my eyes anyway!
I’ve been trying to post some photos but failing miserably !
