Welcome to TM, very nice colour combo
Please note, it's not advisable to fold down the hood down with the Tenax fastener still attached, usually the bit screwed into the body snaps off and it's a pain to replace

Hello everyone, being 28 I told myself why shouldn't I buy an anachronystic, unsafe, unreliable, underperforming and every other un- you can think of car before (unwillingly?) settling down and play the "good husband with maybe a kid on the side and a boring estate" role in the forecoming years? So here it is, 2009 S2 Roadster, bought and driven home fighting 3°C and a loose driver sidescreen that let frozen air blast right into the cabin at 80 mph (speed the car is perfectly comfortable at) for a total of 220 miles. I think it already integrates some if not every single "usual" upgrade, at least on the inside, and it's running perfectly with its 8.500 miles, the only thing a vibration that runs through the steering wheel whichever is the speed she's running at, that must be sorted on her first service of her new life! As for now, i'm really, really happy with it, the car feels every bit as special as i've imagined and every single time I walk through the garage I find myself looking at it more than i could possibly admit! For the records, i've read almost everything on this forum before buying it, i will never thank this community enough for helping me even if i did not register until now, as i wasn't a Morgan owner but just a Morgan dreamer. Cheers, Gabriele ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/cH6z6SSY/IMG-6352.jpg) P.S. shown in the background of this picture a very purpl... pardon, Violet friend's car For you to have bought a Morgan and driven it all the way back to Modena the home of many of the most serious sports cars in the world you are a dedicated enthusiast !

Welcome to the Morgan world from a fellow enthusiast in Tasmania, at the bottom of the world (not to be confused with the worlds bottom 😄). Love the colours of your car and that red piping is both bold and classy. Very nice indeed 🍾👍🏻

Welcome Gabrielle. Every year I go with my wife somewhere in Italy in our 4/4. So beautiful are the areas, the culture and history in your country. And the food of course ...) I think it's very good that you are going to the Morgan World. Being 28 years old you are a unique ambassador of the brand in your circle of friends. I wish you much fun with the Roadster before a new family appears on the horizon. BTW until then you might find a way to keep the Morgan anyway:)

Welcome. I am certain with the love of fine cars you will get great respect in Italy. You certainly have a good dealer in Milan who can look after everything for you. Violets sister was seen in the area a few years back as well. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/02/07/UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_9e3.jpg) Here she is getting a bath just around the corner from your local high volume sports car factory..... ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/02/07/UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_a01.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/02/07/UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_9e5.jpg) Enjoy the many smile and a few bumps ahead.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

You have made a very good decision to buy the Morgan so early in your live. I have bought my Morgan when I was 33 years old. Now, 17 years later, I still enjoy every ride in the car. I hope I never have to sell it. Morgans never get boring, they are great for a long-term relationship.

Thanks everyone for your kind words! I'm glad to be part of this community, as far as i've seen one of the most intriguing on the net . Congratulations, Gabrielle, that’s a lovely example and to own that at 28 in quite an achievement, life will happen anyway so you’ve done the right thing to follow your desires.
One of the things I like most about this forum is the international nature, there are no borders on here! Timely that you’ve arrived here, my son and I have been discussing a road trip to Modena, he’s 19 and I’m 50, we both agree if we don’t do in in the next year or so, we never will. If plans develop, I’ll be on to you for advice!
First place I’d look for the vibration is definitely the tyres, your mileage is very low and perhaps they’re just old and gone hard with standing. Make sure to contact me if you're planning a trip, maybe we can arrange some kind of moggie tour together! Violets sister was seen in the area a few years back as well. I know that hotel, it's often crowded with interesting cars, just a mile away from Maranello. Ciao Gabrielle from Roma! Amazing colour combo congratulations! If you are ever close to Rome give me a shout!
Vassilis Hello and thanks for your kindness! I think i'm following you on Instagram, are you driving a green 4/4? It would be great to drive in the proximity of Rome (not in the city, it's too crowded), I think we'll be planning some trip to Tuscany, why not pulling all the way to the Eternal City then?
