Looks good, when I first crawled under a PlusSix I couldn't understand why it need 4 slender pipes out of the first box - odd when there's a single large pipe 'in'

I think Williams have been looking at upgrades too. Exhaust, LSD, remap(?).

Does the car really need them though?

Probably not the extra power liberated but the sound track of the standard one as witnessed at Goodwood FOS last year was a very mute affair for a Sports car IMHO.

That was my first thought when I looked at the MP image of the before, I'd like to hear an explanation of why that is so.

I'm no expert but it looks like four thinner tubes could transport the exhaust gases faster?

I'll go with that then.

It looks as though the MP system has diverter valves to avoid the final silencer.
So it could be a lot more fruity in Sport Mode.
The Sport Mode switch could be set to change the exhaust flow.

The 2017 AMG C43 does that: in Sport Mode it would fail its noise test, which is why the handbook says it is only for use "where permitted by law", or something.
In fact on the 2017 model the loudness is selectable by the driver, but in the 2019 face lift version and in my 2019 A43 the exhaust noise is not user selectable separately from driving mode.

Wonder if there are any db figures for both ? My side pipes have been measured at 98db;s at KH , just about right I think without any additions !
