I always liked Kirk Douglas, always a sense of menace in his characters.

Gosh....I have no idea what that is (although now I want to know of course). My reference was from the Life of Brian reference to Spartacus. I fully expected (and hoped) this thread would fill with single line posts of I'm Spartacus but very sadly, it didn't happen. Nick

A Kirk Douglas film was and is a must watch for me, even repeats. A mix of adventure, action, historic, strong biographical content and well acted for portrayal of the variety of characters.
From Spartacus to soldier. From Viking to van Gogh. Great presence in them all.
