A very sad story.
I didn't know him personally, but his contributions to the forum gave the impression of a helpful and very enthusiastic Morgan driver with a lot of knowledge.
My condolences to his relatives and everyone who was close to him.

Sad news indeed. It was always a pleasure to read his posts describing his huge experience with Morgans. His clear zest for life was evident in his road trips and obvious enjoyment. Something we should all heed and emulate. I have an image of him driving through the Pearly Gates in Bitsa. Bon voyage Bill.

I’ve only just seen a post on Facebook about Bills passing, very sad news, never met him but saw his posts and exchanged views a few times. A lovely bloke, in fact a true gent, a very big loss to the Morgan community. RIP Button

The bad news began a couple of weeks ago when I had an email from his wife to let me know that Chris Clarke was shot and killed. Chris lived in a suburb of Johannesburg and was building a +4+ using a factory body. Then the news about Bill Button, and now Bill Fink caught up in a fire at his home. All very sad and they will be sorely missed.

Sad news indeed, the Morgan fraternity will be poorer for such recent losses.

Just got back from a holiday with no real internet access and this is the first post I read. Very sad news. Whilst I never met him, Bill has been a constant in my Morganeering and I will miss his posts.
