Do hooligans really drive Morgans , very few , Morgans don't come across as a hooligan car !

I was going to go out in Tarka today, but this dissuaded me...

It is now late afternoon and it is still raining and blowing a hoolie outside.
The forecast for Sunday is worse.
One of the local roads is under a couple of cm of water for almost a mile, there is simply no where for the water to go, everything is sodden.

Never go for a spin for the sake of it - until now. With limited visiting options presently, took the roof off early (normally comes off April and back on October) and gave it a blast in this wonderfully spring sunshine.

Fantastic! sunny

Yes!

(well, yesterday)

200m from the garage to park outside home, to clean and protect the hood, for the first time in three years.
Cleaned the wheels, used G-Techniq Quick detailer (which is nice to use).

A couple of weeks ago I cleaned & fed the leather with SwissVax fluids - it's very nice....

Over the past month I've gradually been cleaning our three cars, in ever-more-anal levels of detail (there's a long way to go! ;-) )

- the i8 and Fiat 500 are an experiment in Meguiars ceramic waxes - which are looking very promising. Very easy to apply, and immediate shine + pooling of water. They say it layers well, so I'll add some layers over the next few weekends.

- the i8 has typical BMW leather - which while allegedly being of good quality feels like plastic. The SwissVax is gradually softening it. Another application or two might get it to smell like leather!

- the Aero just needs another coat of everything - it'll be interesting to see how the G-Techniq spray compares to the Meguiars.

I'm interested to hear your review, I've used the Meguires and it is fine, but somehow the effect isn't that durable, it seems to be designed to need regular attention....and so sell product.

When you talk about anal levels of detail, I offer these two photos as evidence....

Hmm..I need to re-visit and remove the rar spots!!

I do like the reflection of the cobbles in the silencer!

When I start to polish the parts of the exhaust that no one can see it may be time to get the men in their white coats....!
