3D printed the crankshaft adapter parts to verify fitment and clearance on the BMW Engine. All is good after a few minor tweaks. There is a small chance that I will achieve my goal of having the driveline fabricated by spring.

Is anyone on here still interested in seeing this thing get built?

We are. Keep the updates coming, and do copy them to the M3W forum - ignore the purists who sniff at anything not made by MMC.

I sent a message to the mods to move it back on page 1 but they have not read it yet. Someone posted on the M3W forum about this thread and it seemed apparent some are less than amused. I had hoped to gain some data and insight on my build there but yeah... I didn't join here for drama, I joined to learn and share the experience. If the mods move the thread I am totally fine with that but until then, I'll stay in my hole here lol.

Believe me, if I could afford one and fit in it I'd love a "genuine" M3W. That's not going to happen so I am trying to build mine as close to the morgan profile with my own influence and prevent some of the obvious issues such as the compensator. I have a Harley and know how bad the power pulses are, and that's why I chose the BMW. I estimate this build will be finished at around 9-12k.
