Looking at a used 3 wheeler and wondering what the warrentee covers, and if it is transferrable.
In the US.
Anyone have an actual copy of the 30/30 warranted text?

I think you would have to use the VIN and get that information (I recommend in writing) from a US dealership or from the factory, or best from both.

Warranty is good for 30 months/30000 miles and is transferrable (make sure you build a friendly relationship with your local dealer).

Warranty is good for 30 months/30000 miles and is transferrable (make sure you build a friendly relationship with your local dealer). “Local. Dealership” , in your case it is not to far away. In my case I do not know the status of Morgan USA/isis Motors as the recent tragedy in Bodega Bay has put that dealership into question. Now my nearest active dealer is in Santa Monica California, which is pretty close to you Alex. Lucky man you are. It is 1128 miles away for me so that is a long tow/haul when the three wheeler dies under warranty.

It’s 400 miles away, but I do everything myself anyway  Also, Tcherek was very helpful getting warrantied parts from Morgan, while my warranty was active.

I did not realize you were still 400 miles away from Santa Monica. Have you pulled your engine yet? Do you do your own tunes with a cracked ecu?

nearest active dealer is in Santa Monica California Morgan West has a dubious reputation from those I've met that have dealt with them; my personal experience was really poor but I just ordered some Morgan parts and quite pricey dash panels that were terribly made too. Funny, I just checked and Yelp gives Morgan West 5-stars; reviewed by one guy who bought a shirt there, ha!

Dennis is the driving force behind everything Morgan in California... Also, Stefan is the only factory certified mechanic here, afaik... Tcherek was indeed very helpful. Good folks with which to do business and truly sad what has happened.

That would be my next project ;-) I changed the gas tank though, almost as labor intensive 🤪
