Is there any cheese in them? A web search says the contain less than 51% cheese and a lot of processing stuff, specifically... cheddar cheese, whey, water, protein concentrate, milk, sodium citrate, calcium phosphate, milkfat, gelatin, salt, sodium phosphate, lactic acid (as a preservative), annatto and paprika extract (for color), enzymes, Vitamin A palmitate, cheese culture, Vitamin D3. According to Wiki they are made from cheese powder and other unfermented dairy ingredients mixed with emulsifiers. Additional ingredients, such as vegetable oils, salt, food coloring, or sugar may be included. The stuff is heated, poured into a mould and sets. The use of emulsifiers in processed cheese results in a product that melts without separating when cooked; with prolonged heating, some natural cheeses (especially cheddar and mozzarella) separate into a lumpy, molten protein gel and liquid fat combination. I wish I'd never asked.

I like it, the fresh cheesy colour, the delicious unmistakable taste, the esthetic shape and all the natural ingredients.

I wish I'd never asked. We used real cheese not powder. Slices are normally c 51% solids but that isn't all cheese.

Why is the WHO and the many Governments reacting so agressively to what is "just another new virus?"
So far, perhaps 50 people have died and a few thousand are unwell, almost all in China.
A little more than that Peter. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/To that you have to add the thousands of cases that have been reported as flu. PS. I should point out that the high number in Italy is solely because of the mass screening that has, and is, being done around anyone who has become infected. Italy is doing more screening than any other country to date.

I also have the impression that if there was as much screening as in Italy, we would have different numbers in parts of Germany. I said here weeks ago that the police and the authorities in Italy are very strict, also with regard to the closure of public events. This impression has been confirmed. At least the measures are more logical than in our case.
