I once did an audit at British Tissues...……..and was treated to a close up of the contraption which turns wood pulp and recycled paper into paper towels...…...it was the size of an articulated lorry, belching steam and looking like something out of Jules Verne.
Basically jets sprayed a watery paste onto a perforated heated steel plate, and the drying out sheet then went around umpteen rollers until paper towels came off the end on something like a huge roll of carpet. It was super impressive to see it up close.
It ran 24/7.
Although the Pretty Polly hosiery factory was more interesting. Did you know they use leg models?????...….on site...……... Were the legs amputated or with whole models on them? I was forced to take lunch with them, it was a real chore. You poor thing, you're very pitiful😎

We caught one of the younger and more arrogant sales reps doing some side work in the office today. He had been out at the weekend buying all the loo roll he could. He was loading up auctions on eBay with in his words “a suitable margin for providing a service and delivery in these troubled times”. He proceeded to encounter some troubled times he had not anticipated. We have self quarantined him until he learns the attitude and standards expect of one of our team.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

We caught one of the younger and more arrogant sales reps doing some side work in the office today. He had been out at the weekend buying all the loo roll he could. He was loading up auctions on eBay with in his words “a suitable margin for providing a service and delivery in these troubled times”. He proceeded to encounter some troubled times he had not anticipated. We have self quarantined him until he learns the attitude and standards expect of one of our team. Well done Alistair

I'm stripping the wallpaper from my dad's living room tomorrow if that's of any use?  Should be ok provided it isn't woodchip. You’d need tweezers and a very good friend for the splinters. Or waterproof...….…….

I would have fired him for gross misconduct.
