Just for the newbies - as I am still.
I lost a screw from the A pillars to hold the wind screen.
So I got a new screw set from Melvin Rutters (perfect service!).
Today I tried to fit it and did the same as the previous owner had experienced...
There were two lengths of the screw in the package. One is far too long. The shorter one was perfect - so I thought.
With a tiny "click" sound I had to find out that this one was too long as well. At least a bit.
Will have to put a sticker on that and maybe get a new screen...
So first unscrew one of the other screws and compare the length - otherwise - click it goes...

Hi M. Very sorry to hear of your mistake and good luck with the fix. On a brighter note, I am very jealous of your 1992 Peraves ecomobil, I imagine like flying without wings ?

I surely would not blame Melvin...
It is not the first screen as the former owner did the same by fixing the deflector screens.
So maybe the screen itself is not the perfect size within the frame.
I could have been a bit more careful...
