Here is a nice alternative or better said an addition the the Swiss radio, easy listening selection but real Jazz, no soft blabla pseudo jazz. Good sound quality and no commercials.

It‘s my favourite station without a boring same title order like some stations do. Stu Grant is most of the time live in his studio, a one man station.

Yes, the Swiss play Charlie Parker on the alphorn and Carmen McRae had recorded special albums for the Swiss audience. She yodels "Goodbye Porkpie Hat".

Yes Swissjazz is our dinner party choice for background Unfortunately it is not possible to integrate any radio app with Google Maps so you would have to switch between apps if using Google Maps Best I have managed is Google Maps with integrated Spotify The latter has a radio option but this is not radio as we know it, it just puts together a choice of music under different genres So music without news, but with current depressing news it s OK to have a break from that

I just tried to run the Swiss Jazz app with Google Maps on Android and it seemed to work.
