I drilled out my front baffle, which is the most restrictive, look like the rear baffle.
It really woke the engine up!

Is there a reason you guys used 25mm or a 38mm hole saw as opposed to a 40mm or a 44mm?

The front and rear baffles are 38mm anything larger would not fit.

Odd, a 44mm slides right inside the pipe comfortably.

If you look inside the pipe you should see that where the front and rear baffles are located the pipe is restricted so 44mm would be too big and damage the pipe, well at least on mine and I assume the others that have done a bafflectomy.

I just took a 44mm out to the shop and it fits in one side and not the other, so the 38mm is for sure the best bet, you are correct👍

Did you wrap the bit to center it to start the cut? So the bit would not wobble on start?
