I was cruising around town on Tuesday and caught this little milestone

Not sure why the dropbox image is rotated.

I've enjoyed putting over 2K km on her since taking posession last summer. I am looking forward to hitting 99999 with a big grin.

Ah I see now. I thought you were a James Bond stunt driver for a moment.
Love the switches by the way. Takes me back to my sisters 850 mini & my Triumph Spitfire.

Maybe this was the last tour for a long time to come. Such beautiful weather in the Eifel! But there can't be free travel with us for much longer. I expect the measures like in our neighbouring countries for next week. All public life is already now largely restricted in the cities. In the Eifel were a lot of motorcycles, sports cars and vintage cars. All had the same feeling, one more ride before it is over.

Not had a chance today but Wednesday just gone had 140 mile round trip taking a mate to the Silverstone Experience. Great day for both of us even if a bit cold when we arrived. Today is Florence’a first birthday (woop woop). Managed, with effort and a 3 month layoff due to ankle op, to restrict myself to 4918 miles (ie below my 5k insurance limit) so semi happy days. Means I know I’ll struggle to keep it that low next year....
I am so glad I found Florence- she is lush! Just like Lady HB....

Yes it is. I think it was under £15 this year to be unlimited.

Last year I was quoted £60 to go to unlimited....only a tank of petrol cost wise I know but...think I’m paying over the odds tbh for my insurance but, for various reasons, didn’t have time/emotional energy to phone around for alternative quotes. Was told by my current insurers that you don’t tend to get any no claims discount accruing with classic car policies as well...
Must do better towards the end of this 12m period....
