The other week, our son cancelled his wedding in Naples at the end of May, flights wise well just have to wait and see in terms of refunds from the airlines, BA in our case. Money is one thing, but health takes priority over everything in my books. Fortunately we have a garden and also have to walk our dogs, no bulk buying in our house well just have to see how we cope (I can afford to lose a little weight) I still as it stands have to goto work, so carefully playing it by ear. Very grateful not to be living in a large city at the moment, most people here are keeping their distance and it's very quiet out when walking the dogs. I wish the UK population at large would act more responsibly, even those folks on here having jolly jaunts in their move have me questioning their common sense. It'll be 8nteresting to see what gets implemented over the next day or two here.

BA were happy to refund or reschedule for us. You can even do it on their website.

BA were happy to refund or reschedule for us. You can even do it on their website. BA not offering refunds, but vouchers that must be used within 12 months of original departure date

I am a lifetime Gold with BA & I could get a refund. Maybe it is my status but if they can't provide the service they should refund. /the flight was on 11/4 so in the FCO no travel guidelines.

It seems that some people are getting the message. We opened the 'Petri Dish' this morning, but out of 2000, only 5 students turned up. We had a rota with about 20 staff on site each day,. That'll be drastically reduced to about 3 or 4 which will help containment. TBM .... nephew's wife is a teacher and was surprised to see that 'crucial frontline services' that require kids in school included a fireplace salesman and someone who works in B&M ..... guess both the numbers of kids and the numbers of chancers varies with area . K

K Yeah, apparently 3 of the 5 we had 'didn't qualify'  Ours are all of secondary school age, so potentially most can be left unsupervised at home for short periods.
