As we all know Life Motors have closed their showroom in Southport, but Matty the mechanic is still carrying the flame and sharing facilities in Europa Engineering in Banks.
He serviced my 3.7 Roadster yesterday and I found him in his eager smiley positive attitude way.
He now has a little Astra courtesy car so people can pop into Southport whilst the car is being serviced.
If you have ever started a business - the initial years are always a worry so it would be nice if the Life Motor base stayed with him.

Yes as long as I have a Morgan, Matty will service it MOT it and repair it where needed

I also intend to support Matty.
Why? Because he goes the extra mile, explains what he is doing and let’s you get down and dirty under the car if you want!
While the courtesy car was available, I chose to spend the day drooling over the bikes in the Europa Engineering ‘museum’. Any making the tea. And chatting to the bikes owner. Man-cave heaven.

As an adjunct to this, there is a nice article in this months Classic Cars about "Perranwell" which we all knew as the Cornwall Morgan agent. They are alive and well doing restoration work as well as servicing.
Here for a good time not a long time!!

I use "Perranwell" if it gets to serious stuff on the car that I am not equipped for, great people to deal with and very knowledgeable. Currently closed under the prevailing conditions. Perranwell Morgan
