Next time you are driving your M3W with your ear phones in, listen to some 8D music, it’s incredible how the sound doesn’t feel like it’s coming through your ears but straight into your brain from outside the phones.

Listen using your iPhone etc. but Only with both ear phones in.

Here’s a playlist

Does it work with BlueTooth through helmet ear pieces?

Blimey. Took me right back to the days when I used to get bladdered at parties and ended up with the Whirlypits. Guaranteed to make you chunder, it's the musical equivalent of being on a small boat on a rough sea..

Can’t see why not as it works without any new technology at the playing end.

Thanks for the thought. I thought it might modify the Player to do something since it is a downloaded app.

I had and still do have some headphones made by a company called Koss. Bought them in the 70's

They are called Phase4, ambiance expanding head phones.

They weighed a ton as they are cast aluminium and have oil filled ear cushions. They split the L+R channels so that half the left sound was played through the left side and the other half through the right side and visa versa.

Listen to some Rick Wakeman, Pink Floyd or even classical stuff with your eyes closed and the sound appears to be coming through the top of your head and puts you right in the middle of the stage with the band.

There is a switch on the side which turns this gizmo off so they perform just like regular headphones. The difference is amazing.

You have looked after them well. I had a pair of headphones with oil filled pad and remember the oily feeling on my neck when they eventually leaked. Not pleasant.

That is some wild stuff. Never heard anything like that before. "Toss coin to your witcher".
PS: I used to have a Commando 750. Nice bike.

My Commando came back from the USA in 2011 before a nut and bolt rebuild, wasn’t yours was it? 😉

Just listened to a couple of so called 8D tracks from Pentatonix and Disturbed
It is intensely annoying, they just fade the music from one side to the other and back again until the track is finished.
Seems utterly pointless to me I could get the same effect with out headphones by listening to normal speakers while sitting on a rotating bar stool.
Normal stereo is far superior.

Cheers John
