And yes, I think it's an improvement too, but I daren't tell her that! Eggcellent, it'll be back laying in no time

I did my solo in a Kirby Cadet Mk. 3. - the proverbial house brick with wings .... fond memories of standing in a winch vehicle with a flashlight to indicate how how quickly you were setting the winding mechanism....back in the days when I had hair, could handle 3+ pints etc etc

Over the last couple of days I dug out from the organised mess in the garage an old sink. It will form part of a wild flower area I am making by the shed in the back garden. Hopefully it will attract more wildlife. That is the idea. I have some pond plants coming courtesy of e bay to oxygenate it.

That is the idea. I have so.e pond plants coming courtesy of e bay to oxygenated it. John, could I suggest a little timber ramp that extends well into the water, just in case a nosy hedgehog falls in as their legs are so short

Good idea. I have just the thing in the garage. We also have a hole in the hedge for hedgehogs so I would hate to drown one.
