No worries Heinz - I think we are in agreement anyway. Ironically I would have expected a good soldered joint to offer lower resistance than a cold joint. Its generally considered with stranded cable in high vibration environments the latter is better though by not introducing stress points, possibly resulting long term in a break if the full joint is not properly supported.

Thanks for all the help chaps. Well I spoke to Morgan and they've come back with 2 part numbers for the respective sensors, but of course they are Morgan part numbers not NTK numbers. I know these are NTK sensors and the very fact that there is an excessive amount of cable for the Morgan (a lot of the cable is coiled up on the wiring looms) suggests that they must be standard sensors . On principal I need to find out what they are as I cannot stomach nearly £300 per sensor. The factory have come back with part numbers MEE3068 and MEE3069.

Richard , thanks for all your assistance here, is there any chance you could point me to the URL that has your wiring diagram / send me an email. Id like to have an upto date one showing all four sensors!.

This should give you option to download the 2014 on Classic parts manual in pdf format https://www.4shared.com/office/p6q2v_Zpee/Classic-2014-on.htmlThis includes wiring sub diagrams specific to each aspect of the 3.7 V6 Roadsters electrics. or you could just view/save image below of O 2 sensor wiring. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/HJqz8VJ.jpg)

Thank you , I found something similar to this on the mustang site! Still driving me mad to find these sensors .I know they are out there . The NTK 24397 is exactly the right one , but the cable is too short!!

Good luck with the search and please let us know if you get an exact match for each given upstream and downstream are substantially different.

Before I would spend hundreds of what ever currency I would try to extend the wires or let do it by a skilled person. But after all this reading in this thread are you really sure that the sensors are all gone at the same time? I would doubt it.

Agreed, especially as a typical service/replacement interval is 100,000 miles now.

I haven't finished checking all the wiring, but my guess is one of them may have shorted to earth. So I'm just doing some investigation to find a replacement in case I need one.! I remember having a similar issue when the expansion pipe broke off the radiator of my Plus 4 , so going to the factory and the dealer it was circs £500+ to replace the radiator - and it wasn't even one of upgraded type, just the standard one. In the end I found the supplier and it was £100. I'd quite happily spend £90000 on a plus 6 , but I feel very unhappy when as a customer who often does his own maintenance, that you are charged unnecessary markups on off the shelf parts. I don't agree with this policy from Morgan. I'm ok to spend thousand on hand made wings or crafted body / interior parts, but I think its unfair to markup bought in standard items so much

It should be relatively easy to find if the fault is in one of the sensors. Disconnect all sensors, replace the fuse, and start the car. If the fuse blows again it is not a sensor. If the fuse does not blow reconnect the sensors one at a time and repeat. Inspect the wiring carefully for each sensor as you re-connect it. It will throw MIL errors but when you connect a sensor and the fuse blows you will know where the problem is.
Obviously if the fuse blows with all sensors disconnected it could still be in the lead before, or even inside, the connector. Alternatively it could be something else serviced by the same fuse.
