Hi, have too many cars around at the moment and was thinking of getting one of the pullout garages to use. I think they have been mentioned on here before and someone keeps their Morgan in one. Have tried to contact the main or only supplier.. https://www.pulloutgarage.co.uk but no response either by phone, e mail or message. I appreciate they may be behind shut doors given the lockdown etc but its unusual for a company not to put something up on their website or make a reply to an e mail. Does anyone know if they ceased trading or know of an alternative supplier of a similar set up?

IIRC Machine Mart do them. Thanks but as far as I know they only do the 'tent' type. Pullout have a folding mechanism that allows it to be stowed back against a wall for example so it really takes up no space at all when not in use. I thought it was really neat but i cant find any other supplier doing something similar.

They have a current Facebook site which they are monitoring - I sent this 1/2 an hour ago and they had read it within 20 minutes.
"Someone is trying to contact you with view to purchasing a car garage from you and has tried phoning and email without reply, have you gone bust ?"
This normally stirs up the lazy one's a bit...

We have a pull out garage and the biggest problem is not the product but getting hold of him so I am not surprised that you are having trouble getting hold of him. He has a workshop in Plymouth and the only thing I would say is keep trying him on the landline. I have his mobile but he never answers that so don't think it would be any good to you. He made ours a bit wider at the end of last year as we changed from a 4/4 to a Plus 2 as he built ours a different size to fit on the drive. A picture of ours is on his website, the one with 2 pictures on with the 4/4 covered in a white cover.

See this advertised the other week which looks similar and it does say at the bottom that it is superior to another product which they don't sell anymore and they are in litigation with the company. I am guessing they mean pulloutgarage. https://www.carcovershop.co.uk/ready-made-garage.asp

This is better than a pullout garage, but a little on the expensive side http://www.thecarapace.com/

I remember having a look at those a few years back at the NEC Classic show. They seem like they are well built, but as you say they are so expensive that for not much more money I think I would rather go for a covered car trailer like this: http://www.woodfordtrailers.com/rl-2000that way you have both storage/shelter and transport available.

Yes, nice as it is Tim I dont have the room for it, one of the reasons the Pullout appeals. Also its not just about the footprint, the Pullout is available at just 1.5m high and as its going to be under the lounge window it matters. It would also have to go on block paviors and the Pullout has plates that go under the cars wheels to hold it all down saving making any fixings.
Tried to contact them again but no joy, cant believe that they can be in business.
