I'm in Florida but I want to get front tires ordered at a motorcycle place in Ohio. I talked to them last fall and they said they could order the size that I needed. But as I'm in Florida now I don't know what size to tell them. I'd liked to get them ordered now so if there is any delay in shipping etc. they would be there when I get back.

I've got a 2012 3 Wheeler with the OEM wheels and tires.

Thanks in advance

Here is the tyre section from the forthcoming M3W Buyers Guide:

Standard front tyres are made by Avon, originally intended for sidecar use. MMC offer an optional front tyre made by Blockley. Many people regard these as superior to the Avons in grip, handling and longevity, so they are a popular replacement when the Avons wear out. Inner tubes are TR11 and tyres are 4.00 x 19. Google ‘MWS’ for more details. In the USA, owners fit Excelsior Comp H tyres which appear to be similar to the Blockleys. Tyre life is typically around 10,000 miles, front and rear. The Blockleys tend to last a little longer.

During 2019, some owners started to fit performance motorbike tyres, either the Michelin Commander II (110/90 B19 62H) or the equivalent Pirelli Night Dragons. Apparently you get an appreciable improvement in performance but at the expense of a reduced tyre life (less than half the mileage of the Blockley). There is around a 25 mm reduction in overall diameter compared to the standard tyres.

Hope this helps!

After a harrowing trip in the rain, I changed the Avon OEM tires to Michelin Pilot Road 4 Trail. 120/70R19. Massive difference in the wet and much better under hard breaking. Sharper in the turns as well. Inflated to 35 PSI seems right. I used the standard inner tube.

It is good to know the comparison, thanks.

How is the clearance under the fender, same or better?

I've checked with my local motorcycle dealer and he said Saying he’s not seeing the Michelin pilots in that size. He is seeing a Anakee adventure and Anakee 3 in those sizes. He said he’s thinks that’s the stock tire on BMW enduro bikes so sounds like a good tire. $137 a piece. Wondering if those Michelin’s are European spec tires ?

Google finds a "Touring" variation in the US on Amazon, at $203.55 a pop!
