The MSCC Aero 8 Centre is likely to close as there are only a limited number of members and of course they're spread across the UK and not regional. I'm in discussion with the MSCC about the possibility of keeping it going. Many Aero owners are part of TalkMorgan and I wondered if any would be interested in an active Aero 8, Supersports, Aeromax and EvaGT club assuming the MSCC would be happy the extend the remit of the Aero 8 centre to include the other marques. If you would be interested or are already catered for by TalkMorgan or the European Aero 8 it would be great to hear from you.
I can't help feeling that seeing 10 to 20 Aeros in convoy would be utterly amazing. My S1 arrives on the 17th June and have recently sold my Roadster so I can make a convoy of one :0))
All the best.
Phil

In fact there is an MSCC Aero 8 Section on this site and I'm sure if you PM Simon he'll open it to you. Previously, it was only open to paid up members of the MSCC Aero 8 Centre. Once in you'll see that there has not been much activity since 2009, as this Centre in fact became a duplication of the Aero activities of both TM and the Club Morgan Aero. As you might have read on another thread on Masignac there are a number of Aero's of various types going on this Club Morgan Aero event from the UK, including a least one Series 1! I do agree that 10 to 20 Aero's in convoy does make a stirring sight... Cheers

have recently sold my Roadster Hi Phil, Could you have been the Centenary Roadster 100 owner that lives somewhere near Wareham? I have been trying to trace him for the R100 Register.

Phil did suggest I pulled the plug on the MSCC Aero Centre but I am yet to do so.

Phil was followed as Centre Secretary by Julie (and Vic) Norman and I know she organised at least one event, in conjunction with Cranmog if I remember right.

I think the reality of the situation - dwindling numbers and a lack of interest is really the case because people have other options.
Events are well catered by the Aero8 club out of Europe Plenty of other Morgan events are run by the various regional MSCC clubs, which many Aeros participate in. TM is certainly a place where various meets have been organised from for Aeros and other Mogs, even though it doesn't do it's own events. Technical support and assistance is well covered here and on other websites.
I guess the question to ask is what niche is the club going to fulfill, and how is that different to what is already out there..
-------------- Maxxed out!

Yes I think I'm in agreement. I spoke to Julie and Vic and they said much the same. I just wanted to make sure that Aeros are well catered for outside of the MSCC Aero club. I think TM and the European Aero 8 Club cover many needs and regional Morgan clubs involve Aeros anyway. Thanks for your feedback.
